WTF? Wow, what a spin doctor!

Rod Parsley, McCain's "moral compass" claims that Roe vs. Wade is racist and that family planning organizations like Planned Parenthood prey upon the black community, leading to what amounts to genocide.... So, 25% of what would be the current black population has been removed by abortion since 1973, huh? Well, what's the percentage of the hispanic population that's been aborted since then? What percentage of the white population since then? I have to hand it to him, though: he's a good bullshitter. And what doublespeak! He claims our culture has become intollerant of the intollerance he promotes! Well, good! As far as I'm concerned, he's just intollerant of people who don't think marriage has to be between one man and one woman. It's none of his damned business what consenting adults do behind closed doors, nor should his intollerance determine who can get married (or have an abortion). I'm proud to have some of my tax dollars go towards population control -- human population control, not population control of a particular race or ethnic group....

How can he say he respects anyone who gets the Democratic nomination if he's calling Hillary a bitch? True, she didn't get the nomination, but at the time he made his original comment she was still in the running. What an ass.

A pseudo-commission from my sister. She wanted me to doodle on her kitchen cabinet chalkboard, and since it's so hot this summer... well, I felt the desire to show dying grass, wilted flowers, and blinding sunlight. I think I owe her some chalk now.

A teal swivel chair I found

I found this on Craigslist for $40, and my sister has one just like it, but gold instead of teal. I think it's cute, and the teal is perfect for the new decor I'm trying to put together. The owner of the chair replied to my email, saying she no longer has room for it, and though many people showed interest, no one showed up to even look at it in person. So, now she's willing to let me have it for free if I can just pick it up this week. I decided to get it, so now I hope I can just fit it into my bug.... Then it will stay at my sis's place until I move into the bigger apt I'm planning to move into in July.
