Revolutionary Weight Loss Program from the 1930's

This is an actual 1930's ad for sanitized tape worms that you swallow to help you lose weight (or at least keep off extra pounds). As gross as it is, just remember that the medical profession has returned to using leeches (limb reattachment, etc.) and also uses maggots (to keep wounds clear of necrotic tissue). Who knows, maybe medicinal/dieting tapeworms will make a comeback someday....
